Is there any lag between when someone on Twitter sends a tweet and it shows up in Socialping?
Yes, about 10 seconds.
Why is there a 10 second lag?
Because in that time we parse out all of the the links in the tweet and unwind them into their real URLs, get the Klout score and other data on the person that sent it, check it for spam and that you have not blocked the user that sent it, one of the words that's in it or the application that they sent it from. We also organize it into your watchlists, send out notifications, and record a huge number of stats related to the tweet so you can pull reports on it. So, not much.

Do you guys have access to all of the Tweets on Twitter?
Yes, we can access every public Tweet that flow's through Twitter. Tweets from private Twitter accounts are not shown.

How much does Socialping cost?
Socialping has plans that cater to businesses in many price ranges. Please take a look at our Twitter monitoring plans for the specifics.
Are there any setup fees, cancellation fees or contracts?
No. Socialping is billed month to month. You can cancel at any time without any additional costs. We do not refund previously made payments, unless you're account is 15 days, or less, old.
Can I cancel? Do you guys lock us into your service?
You can leave us at anytime. We pride ourselves at offering a unique service that is exactly that, service oriented. Only companies that suck lock you into contracts. With Socialping there are no contracts, and you are billed month-to-month so you don't have to feel commited for a long period either. If you decide to leave, you can export your data.
What is your refund policy?
Socialping is a month-to-month pay as you go service so we don't provide refunds unless it is within 15 days, or less, of your first payment to us. You can cancel anytime and you are only responsible for the charges already incurred.

How does the 30-day trial work?

Can I change my plan later?
Socialping bills month-to-month, so you can change your plan at any time. If you change your plan mid-month, we'll credit your account for any unused balance. If you downgrade, that credit will be applied to future monthly payments.
Are you PCI DSS Compliant?
Yes, Socialping is PCI DSS compliant (SAQ A 2.0). SAQ A 2.0 means, in short, we do not store any of your payment information on our servers; our billing management partner stores your information and maintains their own security policies to ensure that your data is safe. Our billing management partner is Level 1 PCI Compliant (the highest accreditation level available).
Security Questions
What types of security do you use to protect me?
Socialping uses 256-bit SSL encryption, which is the exact same level of encryption that your bank uses.
For account access, if you're on our Premier plan or our Concierge plan, you can enable an IP-based access control list (ACL) to ensure only people from within your corporate network can access your account.
We do not store your billing information anywhere in our systems, instead, we use a third party who specializes in this and is fully PCI compliant.
All account passwords are one-way encrypted using SHA1 encryption and a secret salt hash, meaning that we can never view your password and the probability that someone could determine your password, even if given the entire string that contains your password, is extremely unlikely.
